What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead - Logistics Engineering who will join our team at Supply Chain Directorate.

• Coordinating new subsidiary foundations, greenfield, merger, acquisition, or joint venture projects,
• Leading and orchestrating the global tender process for 3PL and 4PL services, you will be responsible for formulating and negotiating contracts with logistics partners to optimize cost and elevate service standards.
• Exercising oversight over global supply chain operating expenses, you will implement reasonable cost-saving initiatives and develop and administer budgets for logistics and warehousing operations with meticulous attention to financial stewardship.
• Meticulously crafting zero-based annual budgets for logistics and supply chain operations, you will implement rigorous monitoring and control mechanisms to align expenses with predefined budgetary parameters.
• Conducting exhaustive cost analyses and implementing precision engineering strategies to enhance cost efficiency, you will collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to discern and implement opportunities for cost optimization.
• Devising comprehensive forecasts for ocean and road freight requirements, you will furnish strategic guidance to ensure punctual and cost-effective transportation logistics.
• Leading and executing sophisticated supply chain optimization projects, including digital transformation initiatives, network design, and inventory optimization, you will champion digitalization efforts to enhance efficiency, visibility, and agility across the supply chain.
• Collaborating synergistically with subsidiaries to optimize warehousing operations on a global scale, you will ensure unwavering adherence to global logistics standards and industry best practices.

The position is located in Çayırova.

How we describe the perfect fit? 

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering fields,
• Having at least 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields,
• Having experience in global logistics service providers and/or global logistics consultancy firms is preferable, 
• Knowledge of global SCM, TMS, WMS or similar platforms is a plus,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, (Excel is a must)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Understanding needs of the global market & customer,
• Having desire to do outstanding jobs,
• Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people and multiple cultures,
• Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
• Building global collaboration,
