What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Engineer Power Electronics HW Design – R&D who will join our team at R&D Directorate in Beko.

In this role, you will be the sole member of a global team that adds value to human life, being responsible as a Power Electronics Design Engineer. Power Electronics is the key Technology for a Sustainable World, where you can witness at every moment of your life, especially on Durable Goods solutions, EVs, and Renewables. As a designer, you will see the big picture on a holistic approach and guide the design at each decision-making step by high-level communication with your co-workers.

• Being responsible for research and development of embedded HW for power electronics designs for induction cooking technology from concept ideation through product launch. Specific activities will include design, test, and validation of power electronic-based products.
• Working actively with induction cooking control SW experts and system specialists to drive appropriate trade-offs to deliver subsystem-level targets.
• Performing computer-based component, circuit, and system simulation to prove out design performance and compliance with product specifications.
• Contributing to the development of control algorithms and participating in the development of embedded software and control hardware.
• Participating actively in a cross-functional product development environment.
• Participating in Agile team through the development tollgate process.
• Collaborating across functional and geographic boundaries to leverage global knowledge and deliver winning solutions.
  
  

The position is located in İstanbul, Türkiye.

How do we describe a perfect fit?

• Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Having a passion for research, design, and development of inverter-based power electronics solutions, e.g., inverters / SMPS / power electronics products.
• Having experience with analog and digital signal conditioning circuit design.
• Having a strong theory and at least fundamental practical experience in the design and development of power electronics circuits or systems. Also,
• Being skilled in the use of complex analytical tools such as circuit/system modeling and mathematical analysis programs such as PSpice, PSIM, MATLAB, and Simulink.
