What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Senior Category Specialist (Indirect Materials&Services) join our team at Purchasing Directorate.

• Proactive and inquisitive- eager to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvement,
• Working closely with different bussiness units  for the requested items or services,
• Developing sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers,
• Creating competitive environments with suppliers to support the negotiation strategy,
• Building relationships and effectively partners cross functionally with business partners and external suppliers to influence change,
• Planning, conducting and finalizing all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases,
• Following up the technology closely and bringing up new cost innovation or efficiency project ideas.

The position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus),
• Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must, expertise in SAP-SRM is a plus,
• Following and adopting the market trends and new Technologies,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
• Being open to communication is always our priority.
