JOB DESCRIPTION

Token produces revolutionary, innovative products, value-added retail, and payment services to retailers and creates a safe open platform for the Fintech ecosystem. Token creates the devices and infrastructures to deliver intelligent payment and retail platforms, which shape future products and services while creating new revenue streams.

Having more than three decades of retail and fiscal systems experience, the leadership team of Token designed EFT-POS terminals which also comply with all fiscal regulations of governments. Token is now managing more than 500.000 active payment terminals and more than 600.000 applications running on these terminals including banking, meal card, and other retail applications.


We are looking for Specialist - Purchasing, who will work for Token Financial Technologies which is invested by Koç Holding.

  • Carrying out commercial negotiations, contract management with the suppliers and managing supplier relationships,
  • Following up and understanding of related sectors’ dynamics.
  • Proactive and inquisitive- eager to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvement,
  • Working closely with IT Department for all hardware, software and infrastructure projects,
  • Working closely with R&D (Hardware Design Team)
  • Creating competitive environments with suppliers to support the negotiation strategy,
  • Building relationships and effectively partners cross functionally with business partners and external suppliers to influence change,
  • Following up the technology closely and bringing up new cost innovation or efficiency project ideas.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing or Related Fields,
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
  •  Having a global business perspective, understanding needs of the market & customer,
  •  Strong knowledge of communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, problem solving and planning
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications, expertise in SAP&Mfiles is plus
  • Having experience in Project Management is preferable,
  • Following and adopting the market trends and new Technologies,
  • Outside the box thinking ability,
  • Open to innovation culture,
  • Flexible and open to new perspectives,
  •  A great team player with a self initiative mindset,
  •  Being open to communication always our priority.
