What You’ll Do?

· Performing Risk Assessment studies for the area of responsibility, providing training on Risk Assessment outputs in the responsible areas, tracking actions in the field.

· Tracking observation actions.

· Participation in JHA (Job Hazard Analyses), providing training on Job Hazard Analyses for critical tasks to employees, full-time supervision for critical tasks.

· Investigating low-potential occupational health and safety incidents and minor interventions, providing post-incident training after workplace accidents, verifying that contractor employees have been trained by occupational safety experts, archiving occupational safety incidents.

· Evaluating Safety Monitoring and Near-Miss reports in the field, tracking actions in the field.

· Conducting work permit inspections in the area of responsibility, providing Work Permit Holder Training.

· Performing Occupational Hygiene Measurements in the responsible area.

· Conducting job briefings for orange and red tasks in the area of responsibility.

· Full-time supervision during Planned Shutdown Activities, providing PLD (Planned Shutdown) Training.

· Performing Occupational Health and Safety Checks prior to Planned Shutdown Start-Up, conducting PLD JHA (Job Hazard Analyses).

· Performing full-time risk assessment and supervision for critical tasks in the field.

· Carrying out contractor inspections as per the plan, tracking inspection actions.

· Developing a tracking system for Portable Gas Detectors, identifying additional needs, managing calibration processes, and handling processes related to scrap and loss cases, managing financial processes for invoices, conducting Drager and MSA Annual Maintenance Agreement Projects, and cost analyses.

· Asbestos removal supervision and document tracking.

What We Look For?

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety departments

· Knowledge of international occupational health and safety standards (ISO 45001, OSHA etc.) and their applications

· A valid Class A or B Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate approved by the Ministry

· Preferably having Nebosh or IOSH certificate.

· OHS Legislation is well-versed, experienced in documentation and reporting

· Ability to use MS Office programs at a level where they can analyse and present

· Experienced in training, presentations and high oratory skills

· Proficient in written and spoken English.

· Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in refinery and energy industry
operations.

· Experienced in health and safety applications.

· Ability to work in coordination with domestic/international companies and internal departments.

· A great team player with strong communication skills.

· Value-oriented andpossessing a lean perspective.

· Analytical thinker with negotiation skills.

· Innovative and skilled in problem-solving.
