Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field,
At least 15 years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role,
Preferably experienced in the energy sector,
Proven track record in managing and implementing OHS strategies at a corporate level,
Strong expertise in ISO management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks,
Financial acumen with the ability to manage and evaluate OHS budgets effectively,
Exceptional leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills,
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive organizational change and influence company culture,
Fluent in written and spoken English,
Strong cognitive skills and critical thinking ability.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s occupational health and safety (OHS) vision, strategies, and objectives in alignment with corporate goals and Koç Holding’s priorities,
Promote and embed a strong OHS culture across the organization, integrating it into core corporate values,
Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to relevant legal frameworks across all facilities and projects,
Plan and optimize OHS budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation in line with strategic priorities,
Ensure that deficiencies identified during field inspections are addressed and necessary measures are taken to rectify them,
Lead and mentor a high-performing OHS team, aligning their efforts with organizational objectives,
Define and monitor key performance indicators for OHS performance, utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making,
Represent the company in discussions with stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and industry partners on OHS-related matters,
Ensure readiness for audits, certifications, and crisis management processes aligned with ISO standards and global best practices,
To follow global and sectoral best practices in occupational health and safety, and to implement remedial and innovative measures within Entek,
To inspect contractors and subcontractors in terms of occupational health and safety, and to provide guidance to contractor companies.
