What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist – Embedded SW Motor Control who will join our team at Electronic Product & Projects Tribe (R&D).
-Being responsible for research and development of embedded software for motor control applications. Specific activities will include the design, test, and validation of power electronic-based products
-Improving and maintaining embedded software for industrial motor drive and industrial power applications
-Working actively with SW experts and system specialists to drive appropriate tradeoffs to deliver subsystem level attribute targets
-Performing computer-based component, circuit, and system simulation to prove out design performance and compliance with product specifications
-Developing product requirement specifications and validation plans
-Contributing to the development of control algorithms and participating in the development of embedded software and control board hardware
-Providing technical support for existing products and/or product improvement projects,
-Performing risk and tolerance analysis
-Participating within Agile team through development tollgate process
-Scouting for new technologies about power electronics circuits, components
-Creating design guidelines, modules/libraries, and facilitating reuse of knowledge globally
-Supporting technology roadmaps of the company about SW developing.
The position is located in Pendik Teknopark/İstanbul. Hybrid working model is available.
How do we describe the perfect match?
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Computer Engineering (Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus)
-Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded C programming and debugging tools, preferably in white goods, automotive, or defense electronics industries
-Having embedded software design experience, especially on Renesas RX series and TI C2000 series microcontrollers
-Strong knowledge of motor control techniques (DTC, sensored/sensorless FOC) and electrical machines, especially PMSM
-Ensuring fully functional and robust motor control software prior to integration into platforms by using appropriate tools and test methods
-Developing embedded system software architectures to ensure fast and efficient execution
-Demonstrating solid understanding of CAN communication and CANopen protocol, along with other interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C
-Having practical skills in verifying, debugging, and fixing digital hardware and communication protocols.
-Being familiar with MISRA-C coding standards, as well as Matlab, Simulink, and Embedded Coder tools
-Having experience with source control and CI/CD environments (Git, Jira, configuration management, test coverage)
-Hands-on development and troubleshooting directly on embedded targets
-Excellent verbal and written skills in English
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
