What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Process Leader-Occupational Health&Safety to join our team at Human Resources.
-Developing and implementing procedures to prevent workplace diseases and injuries caused by chemical, physical, or biological factors, and improving safety levels
-Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) laws and regulations, monitoring performance, and reporting results
-Conducting and updating risk assessments, creating action plans, and following up on improvements
-Preparing emergency action plans, conducting regular trainings and drills, and evaluating performance for improvement
-Managing ISO 45001 documentation and leading compliance efforts with relevant teams
-Informing departments about legal and corporate OHS requirements and supporting implementation
-Monitoring business processes to identify improvement opportunities and reporting on progress
-Preparing and updating annual OHS training plans, delivering trainings, and reporting outcomes
-Promoting a safe work environment and a strong OHS culture through training and engagement
-Organizing OHS board meetings, conducting regular audits, and reporting findings
-Identifying and mitigating risks related to hazardous work methods or materials in coordination with teams
-Selecting appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and supporting training on proper use
-Ensuring OHS compliance in employment contracts and auditing implementation
-Managing subcontractor OHS systems through audits, training, and awareness programs
-Tracking OHS metrics, conducting statistical analysis, and developing improvement projects.
This position is located in Çerkezköy/Tekirdağ.
How we describe the perfect match?
-Bachelor’s Degree from technical departments of universities (Preferably Engineering)
-A or B class Occupational Safety Specialist certificate
-At least 5 years of experience in field applications (preferably in the manufacturing sector)
-Knowledge of national and international legislation on Occupational Health and Safety
-Knowledge of risk and analysis methodologies and active risk improvement projects and programs
-Knowledge of machine safety and safety standards and experience in practice
-Experienced in ergonomics risk assessment and improvement
-Productive and proactive in accident prevention policies and safe working environment
-Having knowledge of 45001 management system requirements, internal auditor certificate
-Knowledge and experience in emergency and crisis management issues and process flow
-Excellent verbal and written skills in English
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
-Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies
-Outside the box thinking ability
-Open to innovation culture
-Flexible and open to new perspectives
-A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
