Connectivity & Mobility Regulations Team Member, İstanbul | Koç Kariyerim

The scope of this role is to provide the global strategies for ensuring connectivity, automated driving and smart mobility compliance of our products. Following revision of legislations/regulations for automated/autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles and mobility ecosystem. Represent FO at the platforms such as UNECE GRVA, EU DG CNECT, EU DG-MOVE, STB, BTK, HGM, ACEA WG-CCAM and TFs, OICA GEVA, OSD TK, OSD AUS by considering Ford Otosan needs in future regulatory requirements and contribute with an interpretation on behalf of Ford Otosan at the platforms which are related with autonomous/automated driving, connectivity regulations. Develop homologation plans & budgets and perform witness testing and apply for type approvals for the regulations under the scope of this team and supporting product development teams for the determination of software/hardware inputs with technical legislation approach during design process.

Review of all updates for related EU/ UN regulations concerning connectivity and autonomous driving (Framework directive for self-rulingvehicles, 2018/858, 2019/2144 GSR-II automated driving conditions, ECE R79-ACSF (Self-ruling commanded steering function), 2021/1958 ISA, R155 CSMS, R156 SUMS, 2016/799 e-Call, 2021/1341 DDAW, R157 ALKS, platooning requirements, ), driver availability recognition, data storage system-DSSAD, EDR, data communication between truck and trailer etc.) and other national/international technical regulations & inform related teams in the company.
The whole regulatory interpretation support on wireless access to repair & maintenance information, access to data, data protection, Data Act, access to in vehicle data and cyber security."
The whole regulatory interpretation support on real time traffic information, intelligent transport systems, artificial intelligence, e-Call, new generation smart tachograph, short range radar technologies, 5G, radio equipment directive.
Guiding & interpretation of BTK (Information Technologies and Communications Authority) Decisions and inform related global teams for Turkey market vehicles.
Represent FO at ACEA technical working group meetings and contribute with an interpretation which will be related with connectivity and smart mobility (WG-CCAM)
• Represent FO at TF and contribute with an interpretation which will be related with connectivity and smart mobility (TF-ISA, TF-Data, TF-RR, TF-Cyber, TF-ITS)
• Representing Ford Otosan at Information Technology and Communications Authority and STB-Autonomous Vehicles Sub-Committee for shaping local decisions considering Ford Otosan future needs in terms of heavy commercial vehicles telecommunication, autonomus and connectivity features.
• Representing Ford Otosan at UNECE GRVA and OICA GEVA for shaping local decisions considering Ford Otosan future needs in terms of heavy commercial vehicles telecommunication, autonomus and connectivity features.
Participating to OSD - Intelligent Transport Systems sub-committee actively and give interpretation support for choice.
•Updating self-ruling based on market enquiries to related programs / PDLs
•Preparation of upcoming RCN documents (regulatory change notice) for all Turkey-unique news/updates at FEDE (Ford Engineering Design Environment) in order to inform all teams for regulations under the scope of this team.
• Develop homologation plans & budgets and perform witness testing and apply for type approvals for the regulations under the scope of this team.(2021/1958 ISA, R155 CSMS, R156 SUMS, 2016/799 eCall, 2021/1341 DDAW, R156 ALKS, ..)
•Update Upcoming Regulations Table and National&Territorial Non-Type Approval Req List for all connectivity, automated driving and smart mobility regulations in order to inform all teams.

Experience

• BSc in Mechanical, Electric and Electronics, Computer, Mechatronic, Electronic Communications Engineering Deparments.
• National and international knowledge of the type-approval regulations, directives and local requirements such as KTY, AITM, Traffic laws, MARTOY, MOTOY, UNECE, EU etc.
• Knowledge of connectivity and automated/autonomous vehicle functions.

BTK decisions knowledge (eCall, MCKS registration etc)
Knowledge of General safety requirements related with connectivity and automated driving ( cyber security, platooning, autonomous vehicles requirements, sftware OTA update etc) and have basic technical information about ADAS systems/safety related systems/components.
