We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer who will join our team at IT Directorate.

• Design and deploy scalable data architectures and pipelines in cloud environments. Ensure efficiency and robustness in data processing solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in high-quality code writing. Strictly adhere to coding guidelines and best practices.
• Actively pursue opportunities for enhancing delivery quality and operational efficiency. Identify areas for process improvement within the organization.
• Stay informed about emerging big data technologies. Apply innovative solutions to improve data engineering processes.
• Apply a solid understanding of software analysis and design patterns.
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in data engineering using Python and SQL.
• Build hands-on experience designing and constructing enterprise-grade, scalable, and distributed data processing solutions.
• Exhibit knowledge and experience in various cloud/enterprise computing technologies, solutions, and tools.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-analysis and solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting. Possess a positive attitude to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

The position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.

How Do We Describe the Perfect Match?

• Define and achieve the roadmap for Data Warehouse, AI, and Analytics (Visualization) teams.
• Architect and design extensions to the data warehouse, data marts, and data integrations supporting BI projects.
• Exhibit experience with Reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Demonstrate experience in data model development solutions on Cloud Platforms.
• Possess strong knowledge of database management systems like SQL and big data frameworks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DevOps and DataOps skills, including "infrastructure as code" systems.
• Bring 3+ years of experience as a data engineer to the role.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Utilize the latest technologies to deliver insightful results quickly and cost-effectively.
• Showcase experience working with stream processing, message queuing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.

• Exhibit a good understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data lake concepts.
• Showcase proficiency in AWS Cloud. Demonstrate familiarity with AWS service components like Glue, Athena, and EMR.

• Maintain technical and business metadata in the Data Warehouse, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Handle multiple projects and challenging deadlines with intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach.
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proficiency in English language communication.
