What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Specialist Engineer – Certification & Assessment who will join our team at Refrigerator & Compressor Directorate.

• Monitoring and verifying test reports according to harmonized standards for energy & performance, safety, electromagnetic compatibility; verifying technical documentation and giving the final consent for production of new models.
• Managing the safety, energy consumption and EMC related certification required for local and global market access. Working closely with 3rd party accredited laboratories to maintain up to date certification.
• Following up with safety, energy & performance and green chemicals related local and global compliance requirements and standard updates. Distributing information and contributing to new product design projects in order to sustain final compliance.
• Following standard changes and compliance actions at global Arçelik refrigerator production facilities.
• Leading or supporting engineering studies related with standards, compliance, and technical documentation to enrich company know how on this topic.
• Supporting factories to raise the awareness on product compliance and to improve time to market globally.

The position is located in Eskişehir

How do we describe the perfect fit? 

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in development of electrical household appliances
• Knowledge of electrical safety, EMC, testing and certification is a plus,
• No restriction for travelling,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Following and adopting the market trends and new technologies,
• Outside the box thinking ability,
