What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Specialist Engineer - R&D  who will join our team at Electronics Product Directorate.

• Participating in R&D projects to get the project into the mass production
• Supporting Software teams in R&D projects,
• Delivering successful enterprise-scale applications
• Driving the technical direction and supporting the team with technical design
• Having experience delivering in an agile environment
• Making modifications/adaptations for existing products considering cost, quality, manufacturability, and time schedule criteria,
• Debugging field problems and solving
• Debugging mass production problems and solving
• Supporting outsourcing TV projects and getting them into mass production
• Preparing service support manuals and documents
• Debugging system-level issues and finding root causes and solutions; maintaining current codebase for troubleshooting bugs
• Coordinating all relevant contributors to the project in order to solve all relevant SW problems in the field or on mass production projects

The position is located in Çerkezköy.

How do we describe the perfect match?

•  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering , Mechatronics Engineering , Control Engineering OR Bachelor’s Degree in related fields, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering departments( Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus)
• Knowledge in Linux environment coding design, scripting, git version control system is preferable.
• Being experienced in software architecture design is preferable.
• Having at least 1 to 3 years  experience of working on software projects (whole lifecycle from requirements gathering to solution delivery to the customer)
• Evaluating ARM-based System on Chip (SoC) devices
• Modifying U-Boot and similar bootloaders to support bespoke circuit boards containing high-end SoCs is preferable.
• Customizing the Linux kernel device tree and scripting is a plus.
• Building custom Android and Linux board support packages is preferable.
• Coding in C and C++ for microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of developing and running board bring-up tests using  CC++ software and scripting.
• Knowledge of using standard lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to verify board functionality is preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Listening to different perspectives and showing flexibility,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
