In this role, you will be sole member of a global team who adds value to human’s life, being as a Power Electronics Software Design Engineer. Power Electronics is the key Technology for a Sustainable World where you can witness at every moment of your life especially on Durable Goods solutions, EVs and Renewables. As a designer, you will see the big picture on a holistic approach and drive the design at each decision-making steps in an alignment with your Agile Development Teams.
What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer - R&D (Power Electronics) join our team at R&D Directorate.
- Being responsible for research and development of embedded HW for power electronics designs for multiphase brushless electric motor drive inverter systems from concept ideation through product launch. Specific activities will include design, test, and validation of power electronic-based products.
- Improving and maintaining embedded hardware for field-oriented motor control applications on Durable Goods
- Working actively with motor control SW experts and system specialist to drive appropriate trade-offs to deliver subsystem level targets.
- Performing computer-based component, circuit, and system simulation to prove out design performance and compliance with product specifications
- Contributing to development of control algorithms and participate in the development of embedded software and control hardware
- Participating actively in a cross-functional product development environment
- Participating within Agile team through development tollgate process
- Collaborating across functional and geographic boundaries to leverage global knowledge and deliver winning solutions.
The position is located in İstanbul, Tuzla.
How do we describe the perfect match?
- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering. (Master preferred.)
- Having passionate in research, design and development of inverter based power electronics solutions e.g. motor drives / inverters / SMPS / power electronics products..
- Having Experienced with analog and digital signal condition circuit design
- Having strong theory and at least fundamental practical experience in the design and development of power electronics circuits or systems.
- Being Skilled in the use of complex analytical tools such as circuit/system modeling and mathematical analysis programs such as PSpice, Mathcad, MATLAB, and Simulink
- Knowing physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and their applications as related to electrical/electronic operation and processes
- Having Knowledge and experience of thermal management.
- No restriction for traveling,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus),
- Having desire to do outstanding jobs,
- Listening to different perspectives and showing flexibility,
- Building collaboration,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas.
- Knowledge of designing for the Schematic and PCB layout. (Altium)
