What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Senior Engineer-Electrical Design (Motion Control Tech.) to join our team at Motion Control Technologies CoE.
-Seeking methods to improve electric machine performance in terms of material, cost, new design models etc.
-Experience in the design of electric machines such as Permanent Magnet (PM) Motors, Slotless Motors, Claw-Pole Motors, or PM Alternators will be considered an asset
-Validation and verification of electric motors regarding the related standards (EN, IEC etc.) and regulations (MIL STD 810, MIL STD 461, MIL STD 704, VDA, UL, CE etc.)
-Development of test plans and delivering test reports
-Working with mechanical engineers to finalize electric machine design
-Working with production and planning team members for the prototyping and type & routine testing phases and also other various stages: prototype, pre-production and production
-Working with sales and customer care team members to provide technical solutions to the customer needs.
The position is located in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdag. Hybrid working model is available.
How do we describe the perfect match?
-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering, (Master or Ph.D. Degree is a plus)
-5+ years of R&D/Project Management experience
-Being experienced in electrical motors and electromagnetic design, and electrical machines for operation utilizing sinusoidal supply or inverter
-Having strong knowledge of CAE tools such as SPEED as well as Flux and Ansys/Maxwell or other type of motor design and electromagnetic analysis software is a plus
-Having experience with industrial system solutions
-Being familiar with construction / manufacturing methods of electric machines
-Having experience in mechatronics system and having system design perspective.
-Having experience in software for system evaluation such as MATLAB, Simulink, Maxwell Simplorer etc.
-Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus)
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
