We are looking for Senior Researcher to join KUIS AI who meet the following criteria:

About KUIS AI

Koç University İş Bank Artificial Intelligence Research Center (KUIS AI) was established in 2020 by a generous donation from İş Bank. With its 20 AI faculty, 32 affiliated faculty from the schools of engineering, medicine, and other fields, and around 100 graduate students, it has now become a leading research institute of Turkey in artificial intelligence research, education, and industrial collaboration.

KUIS AI Center is seeking research faculty and senior researchers to extend its academic team that works on innovative and high-impact research projects on different domains of AI/ML/DL.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Working with the Directorate Office to initiate and execute academic/industrial projects of the Center
• Seeking and attracting research funding from national and international funding agencies
• Building and maintaining a strong engagement with industrial partners
• Hosting delegations from national and international research centers and other institutions
• Guiding research engineers and advising graduate students
• Organizing technical seminars and events
• Joining meetings, technical events, and brainstorming sessions
• Undertaking roles in scientific and educational tasks of the Center

Qualifications

•PhD degree from a reputable university
• Research experience in AI/ML/DL
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Strong publication record and/or industrial experience is a plus
