Engineer-R&D, | Koç Kariyerim

 We are looking for a passionate Engineer - R&D join our team at Dishwasher Product Directorate. 

• Support mechanical design and development activities for home appliance products (e.g., dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator)
• Design and develop plastic and metal components considering functionality, manufacturability, and cost
• Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools
• Contribute to product validation through mechanical tests (lifetime, vibration, load, thermal cycling)
• Analyze mechanical performance and identify design improvements
• Support DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and root cause analysis activities
• Work closely with materials, production, quality, and suppliers during product development
• Participate in cost reduction and design optimization projects
• Follow new technologies, design trends, and competitor products in the home appliance industry
  
  The position is located in Ankara. 
  

How we describe the perfect fit?

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters degree is a plus)
• Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles
• Familiarity with plastic part design and sheet metal design is an advantage
• Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing methods (injection molding, stamping, assembly) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Open to innovation and continuous improvement
• A proactive team player with strong ownership mindset

• Internship or academic project experience in product design or home appliances
• Basic knowledge of CAE tools (FEA, structural or thermal analysis)
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Knowledge of testing standards and validation processes
