What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Engineer - Production Energy Efficiency who will join our team.

• Take part as a leader/member in energy efficiency projects and renewable energy investments
• Monitoring and reporting of Energy Efficiency KPIs,
• Providing support for Sustainability, CDP, and Sustainability Indices Reports,
• Preparing and analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy periodic reports,
• Creating and developing machine learning algorithms, creating dashboards on QlikSense, reporting and tracking energy KPIs of all Arçelik plants,
• Use data science techniques to build predictive models and other solutions that drive value for our organization,
• Developing our central energy monitoring software,
• Reviewing energy efficiency activity lists with related stakeholders periodically,
• Determination of short, medium, and long-term energy and sustainability targets,
• Follow-up of new technologies for energy efficiency and renewable energy,
• Follow-up of incentive mechanisms and energy-related legislations,
• Carrying out the application process for energy efficiency incentive programs such as Horizon Europe, VAP, and Voluntary Agreements (Gönüllü Anlaşmalar) with local teams,
• Take part as a member in on-site energy efficiency audits,
• Develop energy efficiency audit reports where the technical and financial feasibility of identified opportunities are assessed,
• Take part as a leader/member in ISO 50001 certification and surveillance audits of domestic and international factories,

The position is located in İstanbul, Çayırova.

How do we describe the perfect match? 

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering (A masters degree is a plus)
• Interested in Turkey energy market, energy trading, green electricity certificates,Interested in energy efficiency in industrial plants (Having Energy Manager certification is a plus),
• Interested in Energy Management System Standard Certification (ISO 50001:2018), preferably internal auditor,
• Having experience/interested in Python programming language and visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI,Having experince in PVsyst or PVSol simulation programs,
• Having basic knowledge of predictive modelling and optimization algorithms,
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
