ROLE PROFILE

We seek passionate, open-minded individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds, work experiences, perspectives, thinking styles, and expertise. As a business consultant, you will work on varied projects across topics and industries. You will be accountable problems, discovering insights, delivering recommendations, and making change happen for our clients for pre-sales, project, and post-production activities.

Roles and responsibilities of the IoT Business Consultant include but are not limited to the following:
• Accountable for overseeing consulting solutions and project tasks from the initial client interaction to final billing.
• Acts as the subject matter expert within a specific discipline.
• Typically viewed as a mentor or coach
• Work with limited guidance.
• Creates recommendation and implements new methods, techniques and /or procedures
• Effectively work with the pre-sales team and other areas of business area as needed
• Travel as needed

COMPETENCIES

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a management consulting firm or a leading consumer business, energy or manufacturing company
• Degree with academic achievements in a field linked to business, economics, engineering, or any relevant department
• Ability to understand business models and functional processes related to digitalization and Industry 4.0 in diverse industries.
• Experience with implementing IT-OT integration projects involving elements such as ERP, MES/MOM and industrial IoT based applications
• Assist in the creation of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses or preperation of RFP/RFI/RFQ to clients
• Analyzing and evaluating client requirements and business goals
• Recommending appropriate strategies to develop business opportunities
• Conducting research and gathering most relevant information
• Integrating best practices while evaluating business prospects, factual, and goal
• Working with rational skills and strategic thinking, creative problem solver capabilities
• Reliability, and high ethical standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and commitment to timely, high quality and error free deliverables.

Technical competencies:

• Presentation skills, including building of content in PowerPoint and presenting to clients and stakeholders
• Advanced excel skills to work in a smart way to be able to analyze data fast and efficiently
• Experience in SQL

Nice-to-have’s:

• Experience building one or more specific IoT industry solutions (i.e., Industrial IoT, manufacturing, smart cities, business automation, health, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.)
• Up to 2-3 years consulting or strategy experience and preferably in a lead role
